(better El Alto the big flat 13,300 ft altitude city near Tiwanaku ($1.00 microbus commute) which is
the home of the La Paz John Kennedy International Airport. Small stores in Tiwanaku village are crammed with junk foods, getting
worse. Chicken dinner with potatoes and vegtable $.60 in Al Alto. Meals inexpensive in Tiwanaku village but few foreign
tourists come into Tiwanaku villiage itself but stay out by the ruins. Thus it is determined who eats all this junk food.
I have stayed in Tiwanaku village a number of days a distance from the ruins. Met a young woman who has osteoporosis but it
is not from diet but constant colds that robbs body of calcium. Tiwanku is at the same altitude as El Alto which is 13,300
feet. Watch out for the old no longer in use railroad there they are watching you there are thousands of two thousand plus
years old artifacts used as part of the fill for the rails that are on the the surface. They have to remain in Tiwanaku.
I do not know what a Tiwanaku jail cell is like but if it has a plant material roof you are in vinchuca trouble. But not if
they put you in jail in the very high altiplano. I do not know how it works. Tiwanaku is the very high Altiplano. The air
is pure but 16,000 feet is better. My heartbeat goes down to 55 beats a minute.)
This Is Tiwanaku, Bolivia, highest community in the world. It sits above Lake Titicaca about twenty miles to the south
and all people of the ancient world have visited here at one time or another before and since Jesus. It is on the
northern border of Atlantis written about by the Greek Plato a world wanderer central Atlantis being
south at the volcano island community surrounded by water part of the year of Pampa Aullagas on the flat lower
altitude altiplano in the rich tin mining area of Bolivia. Tin was essential to armaments and tools in the B.C.
era and the only other tin was a monopoly held by the ancient British at Cornwall, England. Tiwanaku is two thousand
feet above the average altitude range of the Vinchuca insect whose bite infects with the protozoa that causes Chagas Disease. Thirteen
percent of Bolivians that die yearly die of Chagas disease. Nutrition is very natural here in the high Altiplano and food
can be purchased very cheaply at the outdoor Mercado markets of Al Alto (not far from Tiwanaku), Bolivia reached
by cheap stage fare. Nourishing meals of chicken and pork with potatoes, corn and vegetable can be purchased for
$.60 cents. In this the "high" Bolivia Altiplano malnutrition from poor nutrition is almost unknown although there is osteoporosis
where intestinal parasites in a limited number of localities because of polluted water prevents absorbtion
of nutrients, and also there is limited osteoporosis where constant colds can use up calcium in the body system. The
high altiplano is one of the most relaxing and healthiest places in the world if you are agreeable to the cold nights.
Sleep is good. In the daytime ther is nearly always three or four hours of sunshine and you can warm up like a horse which
prepares you for the night time. Ten miles outside of Al Alto heart beat reduces to fifty five beats per minute because
of the pure air, even at fifteen thousand feet. Because of the thin air on steep inclines do not walk erratically (or
even look at anyone walking erratically). The vinchuca's wings do not function as they should at 13,000 feet and thus
he has a problem feeding and stays at lower altitudes. A loaded prop Cessna Skyhawk and Piper Warrior the world's two most
popular aircraft can only bump down the runway but not lift into the air. Boeing 757's with their powerfull jet engines have
no trouble taking off and landing at Al Alto where the La Paz, Bolivia John F Kennedy airport is located at 13,080
feet altitude. I need to do more study on the relationship of pure air versus polluted air the latter which uses
up disproportionately calcium and other body minerals. I am certain it is significant in terms of healthy bones. There is total
absence of osteoporosis in the community of Vilcabamba, Ecuador well nourished with natural foods, with good water, temperate
climate and removed from air pollution, yet where bones are less dense but stronger than less rural communities. There
may be many Vilcabambas in the nations of South America. None have been yet defined as research in this direction
is very limited. In the Fall of 2004 the United States Surgeon General downsized HIV and made osteoporosis the nation's
number one problem given the osteoporosis trend very regressive to the national well being. On
my homepage http://www.nylicsocialworkeramazonas.com and main supporting medical research page http://www.nylicsocialworkeramazonas.com/id12.html scroll down a ways for much more information on Osteoporosis and Chagas disease.
