Those who know the Aztecs know their priests wore long black robes with
their hair reaching the ground thickly matted with congealed blood from head to feet. They had an odd odor. They lived
in temples with freshly sacrificed human parts, legs, arms. The sacrifice to god who they considered the sun was made by
cutting the hearts out of the captured. The Aztec believed when the sun went down in the evening it went into many
battles and would not rise up again in the morning without the food of human blood. The Aztec had domination over most
of Mexico exception of the powerfull Maya to the south - who did not share Aztec religious belief. Not all Aztec foes were
that unfriendly and wars between Aztec and foe were carefully and diligently planned out together to prevent much loss
of life. And planned out as to who would win. Sometimes the Aztec would not win. The enormous Aztec area of domination
had a large press corps to report to the people day by day on the going ons of the wars. The Aztec considered themselves
very advanced in the elimination of war. Mainly for the advantage of the rich and powerfull which they had come to believe
benefitted the middle class and poor. One sees the same thing in the WAR ON HIV. There are medicines today
that give long life to those HIV infected still it is not a disease I would want to have and it is a disease I do not have. There
were the sophisticated gold star West African HIV studies 1981-84 that showed how to put a quick stop to HIV much more
efficiently that condoms. But more expensively with doctors and existing medicine. And today we have medicines used with
doctors to the public that will keep new HIV cases down to the level of new cases of lockjaw. There was the early mid
l980's Honduras Study that supported the African Studies. The War on HIV was actually over before it began - if a
real war was desired. But HIV was a friendly foe to the politician. Like with the Aztec the politician could negotiate
with HIV and continually give the press something to run to the public without their being anything happening. And much money
spent. On this count the Aztecs considered their Gods good to them. This also goes on with environmental warming. We
are familiar with the Armagh Ireland studies that people are not creating any global warming trend. Yet global warming
is a friendly foe and following the conferences everyone comes out winning. It is Aztec. This is global level. In the
high arctic which forms a very small part of the globe there is fragility and we may face again the beginning August
1918 Spanish Flu AH1N1 (hp - high pathogenic) epedemic in contrast to mild AH1N1 (lp-low pathogenic) which with world
population growth since 1918 will kill over a billion people, not over 100 million as in 1918. We must have the vaccine
at 100% stock. We keep no longer in the back yards chickens, ducks and geese to give us natural immunity. We can not quarantine
the adult population from the children. To save money to avoid 100% stock of annual flu vaccine one should hear
the hair brain schemes. None of them will work at all except for a few days to weeks.
Three weeks ago I came across the answer to this with a flea market set up at the Antigua, Guatemala zocalo. One local woman
had a large dish of old Central American, Mexican and U.S. coins. And many were silver which initially caught my interest.
Then I saw an old large and very heavy bronz coin in the dish. She wanted Q100 for it which is $13.00 U.S. dollars. I bought
it. It had a date 772 A.D. on it and turned out to be a coin of the first year the Vatican minted coins this made
possible under protection of Charlemagne to Pope Adrian the 1st who had taken office that year. You can see the coin
on my main page. I had it put on CD at the shop across from my hotel and donated it at the end of mass at the
altar to padre Demetri at the ancient Antigua Guatemala San Francisco Church. As to how it came to Guatemala a guess
would be Bernal Diaz del Castillo famous for writing the classic THE CONQUEST OF MEXICO and who served under Hernan
Cortes lived in Antigua just a few blocks from where I bought the coin. His grandchildren could have been playing
with it in the yard and lost it. He after the conquest of Mexico and Guatemala settlement had been called to Spain
for honorary reasons and the coin of Pope Adrian the 1st AU condition could have been given to him as a gift. Also
Antigua Guatemala was the ancient Capitol and there is a lava run remembered in history right down to the very edge of the
city which caused a rapid deployment of the capitol to Guatemala City. On the reverse of this Vatican coin which
is the the first strike of Pope Adrian the 1st under Charlemagne with this beginning mint of 772 (its first year in existance)
is the Pelican (the symbol of Jesus) taking up serpents. One recalls the words of Jesus in the New Testament "go forward and
take up serpents and they will not harm you". And the pelican is taking up serpents for the christian faith. A very powerfull
age. Some of these serpents had money and influence.
The gold commerative coin of 774 AD of the vatican Saxon King Offa of England http://www.islamic-awareness.org/History/Islam/Coins/dinar1.html is also very interesting. It commemorates the first joining and first world constitution of the Jews and Muslims of
Medina, Saudi Arabia. They have been costing us a lot of money. It is almost uncountable. Why can they not go back to those
years when all christians, jews, muslims were "people of the book"?
We have to give much credit to Bill Clinton on the successfull research and development of medicines to counter
HIV
